This is a wonderful mix of European charm and American efficiency apartment located just on the border of the V and XIII arrondissements, which is strategically very convenient. Nearby is the rue Mouffetard where one finds a beautiful traditional open market for fresh products & grocery as well as one of the best bakeries (Boulanger de Monge) and one of the best cheese shops (Androuet) in Paris. It is only a few steps from the Metro station Les Gobelins (line #7) with direct trains to the Louvre (10 minutes), the Opera and the big department stores (Galeries Lafayette, Le Printemps). There are also several buses which will take you in a few minutes all around the Latin Quarter, the Marais or the Champs Elysées.

The apartment is located in historical surroundings facing a calm courtyard with a view of an ancient XVII century hôtel particulier. One can also find the workshop of the famous painter Watteau in an adjacent courtyard. Nearby is La Grande maison des Gobelins where weavers worked on the lavish tapestries that adorned the courts of king Louis XIV and his nobles. The traditional factory is still active and weaves nowadays wonderful tapestries and rugs - it is well worth a visit.

The quiet building has an elevator / lift and the apartment is on the second floor. It has been fully renovated recently and everything is brand new. Large French windows flood all the rooms with sunlight. The interior design is done in an elegant style. The living room has a comfortable sofa set which can be converted into a bed for a couple with lots of closets around.

It has an open kitchen in American-style. All modern equipment are provided such as microwave oven, electric burners, dishwasher, fridge, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine. Complete crockery and utensils for cooking are also provided.

The bedroom, well separated from the living room by a corridor, has large French windows facing the peaceful courtyard. Polished Oak floors give a warm glow to the room. There is a comfortable queen-size bed which can be separated into two single beds. It also has a large closet and a small sofa for pleasant reading and working. There is a large modular table and two large windows. The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin and a convenient washing machine & dryer. Sufficient towels and linen are provided. All modern luxuries are provided including a colour TV with international channels, a Broadband Internet connection and a Stereo system. There is also a telephone for receiving all calls and making local calls only.

For 3-4 persons, the price for the rental is 1000 euros/week and 3000€/month. Monthly prices do not include charges.
