This is a fabulous apartment in terms of its history and location. In this building, Picasso had his atelier (studio) for a long time during his stay in Paris. One finds a copper plate embossed with his name on this building. Just next door is the famous restaurant, le Lapin Agile where Picasso and his contemporaries used to meet. In terms of location, this building is carved into the hill of Montmartre. The apartment is located one floor below the ground level. On the other side it has a grand view of the area from the top of the Montmartre hill. The place du Tertre is famous for its artists and painters who flock there to display their work.

The apartment is decorated in classical style with brick fireplaces and burgundy red curtains & wallpaper and white paneling. Traditional French windows flood the rooms with sunlight. The living room is spacious and decorated with ornate chairs and a plush leather sofa set. There is a huge brick fireplace with a beautiful mantelpiece adorned with antique vases and dishes. All modern amenities are provided including large screen TV with international cable channels and a Broadband Internet connection. The dining room has a traditional dark wood dining table. There is a spacious divan which can be transformed to two separate beds for two persons. The master bedroom has a spacious queen size bed. There is a fireplace and a beautiful private study on one corner. The other bedroom has a comfortable bed and a spacious teak almirah. In addition, there is a comfortable sofa bed for two persons, in the living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils and sufficient dishes and cutlery. All modern equipment are present including microwave oven traditional oven, coffee machine, toaster and dishwasher. The luxury bathroom has a large bathtub and shower. Sufficient towels and linen are also provided. There is a convenient washing machine. A telephone is provided for receiving calls and making local calls.

The price for 5-6 persons is 1430 euros and 1570 Euros per week for 7 people
