Located on the corner of Rue St. Jacques, the first Roman-built road in Lutetia (as the Romans called Paris), and Rue des Ursulines, the building's foundation stone work dates to the Roman empire. In the XV century an Ursuline Convent was built upon this site. The house is located in the triad of the Pantheon, the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg, and the Val de Grace Cathedral.

The apartment has classic interior decor with baroque style antique furniture and original paintings from Reubens and Impressionist schools. The floors have polished Oak parquet and rich Persian carpets. The living room has antique fauteuil (sofas) in Napoleonic "directoire" style. A lovely Mahogany secretary in Empire style stands near the opposite wall. Large French windows flood the rooms with sunlight and a beautiful balcony gives a nice view of the street below.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with headrest & footrest elevation using remote control. On the wall is portrayed an original painting of Hercules from the Peter Paul Reubens workshop (certified by Christie's). All modern luxuries are present including a 32" colour TV with international channels and a Broadband Internet connection. The second bedroom is exquisitely designed and has a modern queen-sized bed with reading lamps on each side. There is also a TV in the bedroom.
